Welcome to the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Register

The NSW Government has a commitment to increasing diversity in the membership of public sector boards and committees. 

To support this commitment, the NSW Government maintains a register of people who are interested in serving on NSW Government boards and committees.

Members of the community, including women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of culturally diverse backgrounds, people with a disability and young people, are encouraged to apply.

Ministers and government agencies often consult the Register when filling vacancies and are encouraged to advertise vacancies on this website. 

The Department of Premier and Cabinet will match a suitable candidate from the Register who meets the criteria of the position and forward details to the requesting agency.

Inclusion on the Register does not guarantee selection for a position.  Having your name on the Register does not oblige you to accept any appointment which is offered.
